Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This letter is in regards to the summer of 2013. As we look ahead to the summer, we are keeping Revelation 3:7-8 (NCV) before us: "Write this to the angel of the church in Philadelphia: This is what the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David, says. When He opens a door, no one can close it. And when He closes it, no one can open it. I know what you do. I have put an open door before you, which no one can close. I know you little strength, but you have obeyed my teaching and were not afraid to speak my name." We want to walk through the "Open Doors" of sharing HIS gospel message for summer 2013.
We are planning to remain stateside this summer and we still have several openings in our schedule. We would love to come share at your church, camp or VBS program this summer!
Our summer schedule looks like this so far:
- June 10-14: 4-H State Round-up (hopefully...)
- Selah signs a Christian song
- 4-H scholarship interview
- Cloudi's sign language team will compete (hopefully...)
- June 16-30: Sleah touring with SALTeens
- June 2nd - July 6: Vonda takes one Master's class from Hope International University (online)
- June 21-26: Loving Hands Ranch
- July 8-25: Oahu Deaf Outreach
- July 29-Aug 1: Vacation Bible School with First Christian Church in Sapulpa
- August: Selah starts Bible College
We also have materials that you can use in your church, VBS or camp progam. These materials help hearing children learn American Sign Language, as well as sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. They will challenge and encourage people, deaf or hearing, to live the Gospel right where they are. Consider ordering our materials or scheduling us to come and do an outreach this summer!
